Road accident

Girl girl, few days ago you asked me to update my mushroom-grown blog.

But I had nothing to blog about, until today (past 12am).

Road accidents, how do they happen?
Until now I still don’t know, do you?

This is my tale, my first accident right after my probation period ended, first hand.

It began this evening when I went to watch Transformers 2: ROTF with Steven, Annie, Angel and Dayang. As usual, I asked and pray for journey-mercy each time I leave home. All went well, the movie was nice but the ending is not as good as I expected (just the end). Overall, I’d give it an 8.5/10.

So instead of staying back to ‘limteh’ and hang out with the rest, I went home immediately. And again, all went well while I was driving UNTIL I reached the cross road near my housing area. (The road from Jalan Song to Tabuan Laru)

Green lights, I drove on.

A car stormed my way, the moment I noticed it, it was too late already. So I tried to avoid it but still, it was in vain…

CRASH! That was all I heard. The car had already rammed directly unto the driver’s side. (Right side)

I lose all my senses, touching, hearing, and feeling. My car was spinning; I thought that would be the end of me. But NO! After my car came to a stop, then only did I realize that I am still breathing so I began to panic and tried to recall what is happening…

So I was driving home and there’s this car that appeared out from nowhere and rammed unto me. I am ‘awarded’ a sort-of-merry-go-round spin for at least 1 or 2 rounds before my car came to a stop. (Just like those you see in the movies, but this one happens to me)

3 men came to me while I tried to open my car’s door. But no matter how hard I try, I just couldn’t open the door. While stuck inside the car, this conversation took place (in Hokkien) :

Them: "Are you ok?"

Me: "Why did you crash on my car?"

Them: "Not us, (Pointing to the dented Kancil) That’s the car that crash unto you. We are just here to see whether you are ok or not."

Me: (Dazed) "I can’t get out from the car."

Them: "Use the other side." (Why didn’t I think of it?)

After I got out of the car, I was overflowed with nervousness and worry. Knowing that the damage is serious, I immediately called my dad while they told me not to worry and not to pick any problems with the other party. Also, they keep saying that as long as I am uninjured, all is well…

The other party came (a young guy, probably in his 20s or 30s) and apologized to me, asking me if I am ok or not. I can’t say much, since I am still stunned by what is currently happening to me…

Dad arrived few moments later after receiving my call telling him that I had an accident. (Sorry mum and dad for making you worried…)

We proceed to lodge a police report before heading home.

Now you might ask, what is the use of praying for journey-mercy if I met an accident anyway?

That was what I questioned myself just now. Instead of being upset with God, I should be grateful.

Many people kept saying ‘Count your blessings’. Today’s the day I fully understand that phrase.

Those guys who came to help or observe mentioned that if I am late for maybe a split-second, I would be in deep trouble since the car will ram unto the driver’s seat and probably kill me off. Imagine the amount of momentum inflicted to make my car spin for a few rounds and its a Kancil that rammed me.

Thank God and praise God.

Then again, if I still had my ‘P’ or probation on, I’d be in deep shit. But no, few days ago, my probation period came to an end and I got my new driving license.

Again, Thank God and praise God.

I came out of the accident in one piece, still alive and breathing, still able to walk, still able to swing my arms around and stretch myself, with the exception of a few bruises on my arm and leg and also a shock of my life. Maybe there are some internal injuries? I don’t know, it’s not visible to the naked eye so maybe I’ll go for a medical checkup later…

So once again, Thank God and praise God.

Who says that watching a movie at movie day is cheap? That movie cost me a figure starting from 'thousand' now. Sigh…

P.S: I was too nervous and worried to even bother to take a picture of my car’s current state… So there won’t be any pictures. Maybe it might appear in the news later?

What if...

I lost the motivation to blog recently, not much of a problem to me since I always kept a low profile of myself. You won’t see me advertising my blog anywhere in the internet.

I wonder why I am still feeling numb even though two-third of the semester is already over. I managed to score at least “Pass near to Credit” marks for all my assessments. Even so, that is not what I originally intended before my semester started – I want to get good grades, at least a ‘D’ or even a ‘HD’ in all my subjects.

Action speaks louder than words, saying so is easy; doing so, isn’t easy at all. You see… I’m not the type of person who likes to bury myself with books every day. I’ll do anything except studying. So whenever you see me studying in library, know that it took a great amount of willpower to make myself study.

Much has happened this semester.


I went back to Utopia after much persuasion, along with Jackie, Johnny and Timothy. Thinking back, we were crazy about it during form 3, waking up as early as 2 or 3 a.m. in the morning just to manage our accounts. It’s still the same 5 years later.

I also finished ‘Devil May Cry 4’ and ‘Crysis’ (Games from Steven) in less than 1 week’s time (Though the games were already released long ago). For DMC4, the protagonist is not Dante anymore but Nero; As for Crysis, The game would have been nicer if they had a longer storyline. I’ll be looking forward to Crysis: Warhead. For the game summary, you can find them in Wikipedia.

Look, the reason I never tried those games until now is because I kept assuming that my laptop would not have what it takes to play the game smoothly. Even if I am able to play some of those new games with low graphic quality, I rather not waste my time on it.

I’ve also finished watching some of the recently released movie/anime.

Naruto Shippuden Movie 2: Bonds (劇場版 NARUTO−ナルト− 疾風伝 絆 Gekijōban Naruto Shippūden: Kizuna)

It had been 3 years since the last tragedy and now Tenjo Night had been revived, it seems like he could not remember anything from the past. I had a dream, again.

I wander alone in the dark hallway and came across a flight of stairs.

Climbing the flight of stairs, it seemed like any ordinary stairs, spiraling to the top.

The flight of stairs seemed unending to the point that I passed the clouds.

Then I saw lots of familiar faces, I saw her too.

Where am I? Why are there so many familiar faces?

Why am I here? Why is she here?

It doesn’t matter to me anyway. This is no lucid dream; I knew what is going to happen.

I pushed my way towards her, wanting to talk to her, even a simple ‘Hi’ is sufficient.

When I reached her, it is as if I lost my voice. I tried again and again but it was futile.

I couldn’t hear what she wanted to say either.

Then both of us were pulled away to the opposite direction.

Somehow she managed to pass me a message but I crumpled it without reading a single word,

For I was filled with sadness and anger – so near, yet so far away. And I also assumed that I already predicted what she wanted to tell me.

And I woke up.

What if I just read what she had written in that message of hers?

What if I was wrong with my assumptions?

What if…

Thinking that you had a bad day and feeling down? Take a look at this:

Fire authorities in California found a corpse in a burned-out section of forest while assessing the damage done by a forest fire. The deceased male was dressed in a full wet suit, complete with scuba tanks on his back, flippers, and face mask.

A post-mortem test revealed that the man died not from burns, but from massive internal injuries. Dental records provided a positive identification. Investigators then set about to determine how a fully clothed diver ended up in the middle of a forest fire.

It was revealed that on the day of the fire, the man went diving off the coast, some 20 miles from the forest. The fire fighters, seeking to control the fire as quickly as possible, had called in a fleet of helicopters with very large dip buckets. Water was dipped from the ocean and emptied at the site of the forest fire.

You guessed it. One minute our diver was making like Flipper in the Pacific, the next, he was doing the breast stroke in a fire dip bucket 300 feet in the air.

I wanted to blog about this movie 1 week ago but couldn’t find the motivation to start it…

Its called ‘The Bucket List’

I doubt anyone reading this will go and watch this movie so I’ll just go on with the summary. (You may skip this part if you are totally not interested in it.)

The story revolves around 2 man, Edward Cole, a multi-millionaire hospital magnate and Carter Chambers, a common mechanic.

Carter is a gifted historian whose ambition is to be a history professor but during his youth, he was “broke, black, and with a baby arriving” so he had to give up his ambition and took up any job available to him.

As for Edward, he is a corporate tycoon, divorced four times, an eccentric loner, whose daughter refuses to recognize him as her father and enjoys tormenting his personal assistant/valet, Matthew, whom he prefer to call as Thomas. He also enjoys the “world’s rarest coffee, The “Kopi Luwak”.

It began when both of them are diagnosed with cancer and placed in the same room of Edward’s hospital. As time passes by, they became friends while undergoing their respective treatments. Edward is fast in befriending Carter when he told his personal assistant, Matthew to serve his newfound friend – Carter too. He even told his doctor to familiarize himself with Carter’s current health condition.

Carter then begins to write a “bucket list” which is also known as “things to accomplish before kicking the bucket.” He is questioned by Edward regarding what he is writing on that piece of paper (the bucket list), which he politely refuses to tell.

When both are diagnosed with a maximum of one year to live, and Carter knows of it, he was upset and crumples his “bucket list” and tosses it on the floor. Matthew came in the next day, noticing the floor is a mess and picks everything up and passes them to Edward, who is curious to find out what is written in that piece of paper. Edward then began to add more items into the list like sky diving, visiting the pyramids, going on a safari in Africa. He even said that all the travelling expenses will be paid, Carter immediately agrees even though his wife disagrees about it.

They started with skydiving (each with an instructor), where Carter is afraid of dying and pulls the parachute cord before the red zone while Edward refuses to pull his parachute strap even when his instructor insists that he has to pull it. After climbing the pyramids, Edward proposed that they cross off “Witness something truly majestic” as they sat down. Carter declines. During that period of time, they learn from each other and talked about their family. Edward said that he is deeply hurt when his one and only daughter disowned him after he sent men to “deal” with her abusive husband. As for Carter, he said that he felt distant with his wife.

When in Hong Kong, Edward hires a prostitute for Carter, who never had sex with any other woman except his wife. Carter rejected it when he realized that his love for his wife is still strong and asked to return home. In return for helping him, Carter attempts to reunite Edward with his daughter but things didn’t turn out well as Edward lacks the courage to face her. He storms off angrily and Carter returns home to his family.

Their family reunion is short-lived though because Carter suffers a seizure while in preparation for a romantic interlude with his wife. He is rushed to the hospital and it is noted that the cancer has spread to his brain. Edward (who is in complete remission) paid a visit to Carter, where he reveals the origin and the factors that contributed the unique aroma and taste of Edward’s favorite drink - the Kopi Luwak. Both of them had a hearty laugh and Carter crosses off one of the items in the list – “laugh till I cry” and insists Edward to finish the list without him before he enters the surgery room. The operation is unsuccessful and Carter passes on.

During Carter’s funeral, Edward was the one to deliver a eulogy for him, saying that few months before his death, they had been complete strangers. But those last months of Carter’s life (after they met each other) were the best months of his life. With that, he crosses off “help a complete stranger for a common good” in “the bucket list”.

Then we see Edward finally went to reconcile with his only daughter who accepts him back into her life, much to his surprise and joy. She also introduces him her daughter, his granddaughter that he never knew of and kissed her. Crossing “kiss the most beautiful girl in the world” off the list.

As the epilogue, we see Carter narrating stating that Edward lives to the age of 81. On the day he passes away, there isn’t a single cloud on the sky. Edward has his ashes placed inside the same type of can as Carter’s – Chock full o’ Nuts. Where Matthew carries his ashes to the top of Mount Everest and places it in a small black box – next to Carter’s ashes. With that, Matthew crosses off “witness something truly majestic” and places the list inside the small black box before burying it in the snow again.

My dad once told me that the Bible’s teachings are very true. If someone slaps you on your left cheek, give him your right cheek too. If someone steals your coat, give him your tunic too. This should be familiar to most of us. From here I relate this to something that happened in the past.

It’s not that I like to bring up old issues but because whenever I think of that incident, my blood boils. No doubt, that incident I am talking about happened few days just after the final exam.

Introduction to Programming in C.

Students have to attend a 1 on 1 interview session with the lecturer, Sheldon Lee. Failure to do so results in a fail or N for the subject. (Or that’s what I was told)

I have no need to twist what I am going to write here. Everything happened below is true and there are many witness too.

There’s this person that I reminded him of his interview, not once but twice. The 1^st time was 1 or 2 weeks before the interview and the 2^nd time was the day before the interview. Either he did not believe what I told him or just couldn’t be bothered, that I don’t give a damn. The moment I asked him about it the 3^rd time, he was taken aback and went to confirm it himself. Finally he believed me but that’s not all.

He put the blame on me for not telling him the THIRD time that today is the day of his interview. AND he still has the guts to tell another friend “SW, we fail programming because of him.” Deep within me, it took me so much effort to suppress the urge to retort back. Who am I, your servant? Am I paid to keep tabs of your appointments and all sorts of shit you do? NO! You are already 20 years old, and if you still can’t be responsible for yourself, nobody else can help you.

In the end, I gave in and say that it is my fault for not telling you the THIRD time that today is your interview. Yes, any human would have commented that it is a very stupid thing to do – admitting a fault that wasn’t yours to begin with.

Let me be frank, I am positive that many will assume that I am a quiet person, who always give in to other people’s will and rarely disagrees on anything even though I don’t like it. AND if you are willing to go as far as thinking that I am a good target for bullying, LET me tell this to you straight onto the face. You are wrong, so wrong.

“You weren’t wrong, why did you apologize to him?” Many questioned me that way. Sorry, but I usually give in until I believe the person that I give in to is incurable, then only I show my other self.

I give in because I follow the teachings of what I believe. If someone slaps you on your left cheek, give him your right cheek too. BUT every human has its own limit, you try stepping on my head and that is what will happen - Keyword: After MOS test 1.

Whoever is right or wrong, you know it yourself. Apology or not, it’s worthless from you. The last thing I want is to have you crossing my path. You MAY go and twist the tale and tell whatever you want if you intend to defend yourself. It has nothing to do with me anymore. I’ve finished my rant and have nothing else to say about it.

I wanted to blog this entry few weeks back. But then there are many obstacles that made me unable to blog and one of them is laziness.

The church that I am attending introduced us this movie and gave us some spoilers. The Reverend encouraged everyone to come for the movie at 7.30 pm that Sunday but I chose not to go with being lazy as one of the many reasons (same as above). Instead I began my hunt for the so-called movie and it took a few weeks time to download “End of the Spear 2005”.

This movie is based on a true story of the missionaries and the native tribesmen (The Waodani). Now, the Waodani tribe is one fierce and fearless tribe. Instead of protecting their own people, they speared their own kinsmen as if they are abiding by the law “The strong shall prevail and the weak shall perish.” (Shishio-sama from Samurai-X)

So you ask, what do the missionaries have to do with the Waodani Tribe? Well, because of the Waodani constant spearing-of-one-another, they are facing extinction (they are humans, not any endangered species of animals). With that, the missionaries attempted to reach out to the Waodanis in order to evangelize them. 5 brave souls went and none returned, all being speared by the Waodanis (not being able to fulfill their request for the most parts).

Actually the missionaries have guns to defend themselves but chose not to.

Below is a part of the conversation that took part before the death of the missionaries.

Son: “If the Waodani attack, will you defend yourself?”
Son: “Will you use your guns?”

(Brief pause)

Dad: “Son, we can’t shoot the Waodani. They are not ready for heaven.”
Dad: “But we are.”

This movie tells the happening from 2 people’s point-of-view. One of them is Steve Saint, the son of one of the murdered missionary and the other is Mincayani, one of the tribesmen of the Waodani tribe.

In the end, Steve Saint and Mincayani form a solid bond that continues even today. This movie even includes the epilogue, a special footage of Steve Saint taking Mincayani (his god-grandpa) to the states. There you can imagine what happens when a man from jungle going to the city. (E.g. : George of the Jungle)? If you happen to be curious about it, go watch the movie. No regrets guaranteed.

The quotes above are taken from the movie ‘Evan Almighty’. I’m not sure if I mis-typed any of it. Anyway it carries the same meaning so... No sweat.

Yeap, this movie is kinda touching for me. The time spent to torrent the DVD version of this movie is not wasted at all. :)

The 2 girls looked very caring and loving and [insert praise here] isn’t it?

But it didn’t turn out to be that way.

The main character for the anime – School Days – Makoto Ito happened to be one of the millions and millions of assholes in this world. When I mean assholes, I mean a two-timer. Nobody likes that, I just don’t get what is so fun in being a 2-timer. For Makoto’s case, he’s more than just a 2-timer. This is how the storyline goes, there’s no point criticizing it.

Despite that, many people are still following the course of the anime, including me. For me, I will just read the summary from Random Curiosity as I find the episodes getting more and more boring. Like many others, I await the final episode, and it is available in torrent sites today.

Why did I say so? It’s because he slept with almost all the girls in the anime, including one of the two girls shown in the picture – Saionji Sekai and Kotonoha Katsura.

Since the first few episodes, many people commented that a guy like him should just burn in hell. I seconded that and will be very pleased if he dies a horrible death. My wish came true; in fact, the majority’s wish came true. He died in the end; stabbed to death by the girl whom he made pregnant – Saionji Sekai.

This is how Makoto Ito died:

Approaching him, using a short message to apologize and wishing him goodbye.


Here, Makoto is screaming in agony.


This is the n’th number of stabbings.


The blood is black in colour.


That ends the tale of the legendary-multiple-timer – Makoto Ito.

Kotonoha Katsura is the kind of girl that carries a peaceful tone with a killing intent. After realizing that Makoto Ito died from multiple stabs, she proceeds to severe the head of Makoto Ito and placed it in a bag. If I am asked why she did that, maybe she’s just lonely and wants her dead boyfriend’s company.

She confronted Saionji Sekai at the rooftop by sending her a sms using Makoto Ito’s handphone. At the rooftop; by the way she talk, you can sense a peaceful aura around her, it’s like there’s happiness and heaven and nothing else BUT the aura is overridden by her killing intent.

The rooftop, nostalgic as it is, used to be the place where the trio – Makoto Ito, Saionji Sekai and Kotonoha Katsura had lunch together. One died from stabbing; the other will die from being cleaved. The remaining two faced each other and only one will leave the rooftop alive.

As the story goes, Kotonoha Katsura slashed Saionji Sekai and left her corpse at the rooftop to rot.

Here’s how it happens:

On the neck of Saionji Sekai; Blood spluttered out.

Besides being the girl with a peaceful tone and a killing intent, she stays loyal and still clings to the remains of the dead Makoto Ito – his head. She took his head with him everywhere she went including the proposed trip on the yacht with the two of them only. She got what she wanted; she was with him his head alone.


On my own, pretending he’s beside me…

It sure is nice to have such a loyal girlfriend. But to the extend of carrying the head of your dead boyfriend is definitely a no-no for me and for many out there.

Somewhere within me, I hoped for a happy ending like maybe the main character gets to be with one of the 2 girls instead of this 2-in-1 gruesome ending (Saionji Sekai stabbing Makoto Ito + Kotonoha Katsura slashing Saionji Sekai). Maybe it’s because I’m exposed to too many heart-touching animes and movies, thus causing me to cast aside gruesome or brutal shows.

The down-side of this final episode is there are no sound effects of the stabbings and slashing. It is replaced by flashbacks and background music instead.


Anyway, nice boat. Isn’t it?

Offtopic: SK did mention that Kotonoha Katsura finally smiles at episode 11.

Looking at this smile, it felt so cold and brutal now - the intention of killing hidden behind a smiling shell.

Naruto the Movie III: The Animal Riot of Crescent Moon

I’ve finished watching the movie despite the disturbances such as being called to play games, dinner etc.

Yubikiri or pinky swears are made; a promise is a promise and we ought to keep it just like how Naruto, Sakura and Rock Lee kept theirs.

Not amazed by the Rainbow Rasengan or the Gelel-enhanced Rasengan? Take a deep breath and watch Naruto channeling his Chakra into his hands to form the Cresent moon Rasengan.

Definitely a MUST for Naruto Fans.

Offtopic: It seems that Naruto always uses different kinds of Spiraling Sphere counting from the first movie to the third, I wonder how the fourth one look like...

Movie Spree

Been to the cinema twice, which is yesterday and today. Watched these two movies.

Yesterday;

Jeff, Kelvin and I booked tickets for ‘Ghost Rider’ and met Aldrin, Keith, Eric, Judieth, Jacq, Irene and Aurelia in the cinema. They were planning to watch ‘Happy Birthday’ at first but then they changed to ‘Music and Lyrics’. I didn’t plan to watch any movies that day as I was reaching my limit of spending. Since both Jeff and Kelvin decided to join them, I had no other choice but to follow suit because I would have to loiter around the cinema for around 2 hours with boredom.

I thought the movie would be a boring one with singing and more singing till the end of the movie. I was wrong. The movie is categorized under comedy and romance. It made the audience laugh heartily. It includes a few censored scenes (Judieth kept blocking our sight with her bag). While on the way home, both Jeff and Kelvin commented that the movie we watched earlier is like an insult to the Buddhist, I was not too sure about it so I kept quiet and listen to them. Too lazy to write out a summary of the movie, so go watch the movie yourself; it is worth it for RM8.

This song keeps repeating itself in my mind. Because of that, the first thing I did after reaching home was to hunt for the song, found it and downloaded it. Thanks to Lite FM.

-Way back into Love-

Today;

I had a surprise visit from both Jeff and Kelvin. I was still gaming actually so I had to leave it and went to take a quick bath and dressed myself up as it isn’t nice to make your friends to wait for you. After jumping into the car, we went to fetch KT and ZW. Then we went to The Rock Shop and Hock Lee Centre to kill time. ZW bought a pair of ‘dragon’ jeans while KT bought a belt in The Rock Shop.

I only remembered the moment in the arcade located in Hock Lee Centre. KT and Jeff played a sort-of-street-fighter arcade game. *Bang BAng BANg BANG* nope, that was not the sound of gunshots, it was the sound of the palm (fist) trying to beat up the console. I could not stop laughing non-stop upon seeing the seriousness in KT’s face.

In the cinema, we met up with Chen, Robert and XJ. Without wasting any time, we bought drinks and popcorn at the counter hastily before rushing into the hall. There are two ghost riders mentioned in the story. Both of them look very cool; one with his blazing bike and the other one is a retired ghost rider - with a fiery horse. The movie overall is near to perfect, with all the graphic and sound effects.

Bone Fletcher or Bone Clinkz was what we called the ghost rider as it resembles the hero Bone Clinkz in DotA. The only different thing is that one of them wears a jacket and uses a chain as its weapon while the other doesn’t wears a jacket and uses bow and arrows as its weapon.

All 8 of us went to a nearby marketplace aka open air area for dinner. They ordered the infamous beef noodles once they rest their backs on the chair. I told them to count me out, with the reason that I’m not hungry. In fact, I am left with only RM2 in my wallet and could not bear to spend it.

Never mind that, after dinner, they decide to go to Ultimate CC for a game of CS. There was nothing I could say but to follow them, it would not be reasonable to ask my dad to come all the way to fetch me back home. Upon reaching the CC, I told them that I do not want to play but Chen had already asked for 8 places so I had no choice but to play on.

After reaching home, feeling tired and down, I head to my room and switch on the PC. Starring at the screen blankly for a moment before realizing that I had not taken my dinner yet, I went to the refrigerator and hunt for food but there was none that is edible. In the end, I tore open a packet of chips that I saw lying innocently on the dining table and gobble them down. I gulp down a can of Shandy to force all the chunks of chips into my stomach before I start getting hiccups.

Played a game of DotA with my clan mates and Yong against a group of friends and own them badly. I console myself, telling myself that I will be able to get red packets and more red packets to replace the money I had used up these days. That was the only thing that cheered me up for today.

A walk to remember

I watched ‘A Walk to Remember’ few hours ago. The movie was around 4 years old but many told me that it is a good movie so I torrent it without any hesitation. The only regret I had was that I never watched that movie when it was available 4 years ago.

She wanted to witness a miracle; He is her miracle.

The movie revolves around the lives of two completely different teenagers in Beaufort High School – starring Mandy Moore as Jamie Sullivan and Shane West as Landon Carter.

It all began when a prank on a fellow colleague went wrong; Landon was punished with compulsory participation in various kinds of school activities such as tutoring younger children at their sister’s school and acting in the drama club’s final production – the spring play.

He was left with no choice but to interact with Jamie and seek her help when he realized that he needed help with his lines for the spring play. She agreed on the condition that he does not fall in love with her which he responded confidently “that’s not a problem.” Even so, he mocked her and looked down on her in school just to stay in the group of his own friends.

Soon, Landon was attracted to Jamie’s optimistic attitude – her forgiving nature and her strong faith. He finds himself falling in love with her despite promising her that he wouldn’t. As the both of them began to date, his relationship with his friends and his reputation are threatened. He decides to end all his connection with his former group of friends and even strike down a former friend for publicly humiliating Jamie.

At the climax, we were told that Jamie was diagnosed with terminal leukemia and had stopped responding to treatments. Landon stayed by her side all the time when she was hospitalized. He fulfilled various wishes on her list such as building a telescope so she could see a comet.

The story ends after the both of them got married in the Chapel and Jamie went on ahead to the afterlife. She left behind a great impact on Landon, changing him for the better; he finished college and was accepted to medical school.

Landon apologized to Jamie’s dad, the minister for not being able to fulfill all of her wishes, such as showing her ‘the miracle’ that she wanted to see before she passed on. Her dad said that she had witness it, and it was him who was her miracle.

Like Jacq said, such guys like Landon are hard to find in this world. To think that he even stayed by her side till she breathed her last. To the both of them, their love and loyalty to each other will never end.

This will only happen in movies; in the real world, loyalty doesn’t pays and nothing is forever, except your devotion to God alone.

If you are the guy, and your girl is on the verge of dying or vice-versa; are you willing to give what Landon gave to Jamie? I believe the majority will say “I will.” But when it comes to action, only a few will actually keep their word.

A dream

Dreams, how does it really work? Does it link all the previous happenings all together into a piece and happen right before your eyes? According to Wikipedia, a dream is the experience of envisioned images, sounds, or other sensations during sleep. The events of dreams are often impossible or unlikely to occur in physical reality, and are usually outside the control of the dreamer.

After I rushed for my study info essay in the afternoon, I managed to finish it in the evening and played some games before having my dinner. After dinner, I felt like lying down on the bed and I did so. My eyes were still open and I’m wide awake, staring at the ceiling and thinking of what to say to my old friend if I met her again this Sunday. Suddenly, I went blackout and it was then the dream appeared to me.

That dream resembles nothing and I’m positive about it. I was thrown into a magnetized field like a time-portal which we always saw in sci-fi movies. I couldn’t move my body nor speak out a single word as I had no idea where I will be going to. Many weird people passed by including the faces of my friends and her.

Then, I was transported into a dark building, it looked like it had not been used for a very long time or it had been used but was never maintained. That place gives me the creeps as the surrounding looked like it was taken directly from the movie ‘Boo’. The building also had similarities with the hospital in the Tabuan Laru area as I had been into the hospital before except that it wasn’t lighted as it was supposed to be. The whole place was pitch-black and only a few lights worked but were flickering.

I only knew I was thinking of her and what to say to her before I reached here. Suddenly I saw the possessed lady from the movie ‘The Possessed’ appearing in front of me. Of course, I was taken aback. Considering what she might do as had happened in the actual movie. Strangely, she passed by without even stopping. Maybe she couldn’t see me. That was all I could think of.

I walked along the hallway alone and suddenly out of nowhere; I saw Kelvin, Jeff, Soon Ping and Shao Wee. I was wondering what they were doing here before I met Pauline, Esther and Jia Jia as the five of us walked down the hallway. Curiosity invaded me as I wondered why Robert and Siew Yong weren’t with their gang of friends. Soon Ping and Jeff were carrying their notebook with them as usual because he is the only one with the so called schoolbag that is bulging from behind and Jeff is holding his black bag with his right hand.

From then on, what happened later became blur to me. The few scenes I remembered was hearing someone teasing Pauline by saying the name of A., she had no response and suddenly disappeared into thin air. Strangely, we moved on without even looking for her. Then we came to a lift and Esther said she had to go. When the doors of the lift opened, there was no lighting inside the lift too – pitch-black like the whole building. Despite that, she stepped into the lift and wave goodbye to us continuously. Before the door closed, I knew I saw 2 dark bloody glowing eyes slightly above her staring at us and what horrified me was that the lift stopped at the 3rd floor and stopped moving.

Immediately, I realized this building is haunted. The scene from the movie ‘Boo’ all came to me at once. I recalled the whole movie and what happened to those people who ventured in – a gruesome death befall on them. Somehow, no one wanted to leave the building and went on, deeper into the core of evil itself. There was a stairway at the end of the path we headed. One could stare at the gap of the stairway and see nothing but darkness and a deep-red glow; it was as if the stairs were made for souls to travel to hell.

Before the stairway was a vending machine, a few of us were thirsty and went towards the vending machine. That machine does not accept any coins but notes only. We tried forcing a RM5 bill into it but it did not work. Then a piece of hell note appears out of no where and one of us used it on the vending machine reluctantly. The machine accepted the note and we pressed the drinks we wanted and there was an ear-piercing shriek. Something swift and massive was coming towards us and I fade into darkness again.

I woke up and wondered if I am already dead. I’m lying on something soft but not too comfortable. It was my own bed. It was 2300. The dream happened during 2030 to 2300. I only knew that some pieces of my dream came from the real world.

It was Thursday 1930; Kelvin, Jeff, Jin Thad and I were outside waiting for Francis. While waiting, Pauline, Siew Yong, Esther and Jia Jia along with their friends came out and waited at the lobby for their own respective cars. Someone teased Pauline on A. but she ignored it and went off with Siew Yong. I waved goodbye to Esther after Kelvin greeted her which I misunderstood it as a goodbye wave. She said she’s not going yet and my friends laughed at me. Jeff took us to Tabuan Jaya’s marketplace for dinner and while on the way home, we passed by the new hospital in Tabuan Laru area. He said that the movie ‘The Possessed’ happened here. So that explains why I had these in my dream.

I doubt I would be able to sleep right now while I blog this entry as I was still wide awake and my right kneecap colored in red. Usually, when I was afraid of something, I would purposely inflict pain on my right kneecap as there was a wound on it. Just squeezing the wound would not work even though it is painful. I had to use a needle or safety pin to pierce into my skin until the tip of the needle come out, only then I will pull the needle upwards. Blood and peach-colored substance came out together sometimes as the wound bursts. Only then will I overcome the feelings of fear within me. That was also one of the reasons why I am immune to pain even though I acted like I was in pain when my friends ‘greeted’ me with slaps on the back as I was already so used to severe pain and slaps to the back were nothing compared to that.

Yawn...

I did not sleep last night. Maybe I did, maybe I didn’t as I kept waking up after closing my eyes for 1 or 2 hours. I stole a few hours of sleep at noon before going out for a movie with my friends. Around 1430, I received a call from Jeff. The only words I heard from him was inform SP, SW, ZW and Robert that we will be watching movie at 1630 and to be at the cinema at 1615 because I was only half-awake.

I purposely called my dad home to send me to the cinema and we left home at around 1600. On the way, my parents asked me “Isn’t that Jeff’s car?” then I realize that I must have missed what he had said earlier to me at 1430 about picking me up. I apologized to my dad and hop on to Jeff’s car and whispered a quick goodbye to my parents before going off. Luckily he did not mind. During the journey to the cinema, my friends said luckily they came earlier, if not things would have messed up.

The movie we watched was Death Note 2: The Last Name. “The human whose name is written in this note shall die.”Light Yagami is an elite university student and a genius. When a shinigami (God of Death) dropped 'Death Note' on Earth, Light picks it up and decides to keep it.

With his father being a police inspector, Light has a strong sense of justice and is determined to wipe out all criminals using the Death Note. Dispersing justice obsesses him and he envisions himself as a god in the crimeless utopia he plans to create. As criminals continue to die in unexplainable ways, people start saying that it's the work of a 'messiah' who they call, Kira.

International Criminal Police Organization (ICPO) deploys its best 'weapon,' L, the genius investigator to solve the mystery. L's superior intelligence seems a sure bet in cornering Kira. Light evades L though, by utilizing his intelligence and the mysterious power of the Death Note. As attempts to catch Kira become more elaborate, Light makes a daring move. He devises a way to be part of the 'Kira Task Force' with his identity concealed. But L has been waiting for this opportunity. Light and L finally meet. Now their psychological duel enters a new phase. Whoever is careless for even a split second will lose.

While the geniuses are busy dealing with each other, another Death Note drops to Earth. Rem, a shinigami, brings the second notebook and Misa Amane comes into possession of it. She is a pop star and a Kira worshipper. Now becoming a Kira herself, she accepts the offer to have the Eyes of the Death. With the Eyes of the Death, one can know the name of any person without being told.

With this special ability given by the Eyes of the Death, Misa offers to work with Light.
Together they intend to find the true identity of L so that his name can be written in the Death Note. But L intervenes with their scheme and succeeds in capturing Misa. Light surrenders so that he can be nearer to Misa. But of course, he has incredible plans to turn around the situation with the Death Note.

Sakura Television Broadcasting has made a name with its sensational Kira coverage. Kiyomi Takada is one of the news journalists who have been following the case for a long time. One day her life alters forever when she becomes the third person to possess the Death Note.With the disclosure of the new rules of the Death Note, the mystery becomes so complex that even the geniuses Light and L are perplexed. Amongst this chaos, only one person sees through the whole thing. Wondering who will win and who will die? The answer is written in Death Note 2 the Last name! Go watch it!

The ending is not what the majority wanted including me, even though I knew how it would end before watching the movie. The movie lasted for almost 2 and ½ hours, I wanted to answer nature’s call during the climax of the movie but resisted till the end because I do not wish to miss any part of the story.

Offtopic: Erika Toda is a beauty!

We met up with Ah Seng, ZW, KT, DL and ES. Everyone including me tried out archery. RM3 for 12 arrows, it’s worth a try. In return for the experience in archery, I was rewarded with a couple of bruises on my left arm because I had no idea how to attach the arrow to the bow and fire it. We had our dinner at Tun Jugah after using up all the arrows.

After everyone filled their stomachs, we went to the lifts as Jeff’s car was in B2 floor, Tun Jugah car park. Somehow, the lift we went in to was jammed and the door won’t close no matter how hard we press the ‘close’ button. There were 2 young ladies going into the lift too and waited patiently for us to press the ‘close’ button. It was futile. In the end, we (all 7 together) headed off to another lift and luckily it worked. But the drawback was that the lowest floor the lift could reach is the 1st floor. One would have to take the stairs if he/she does not want to wait.

We walked towards a path that leads to 2 doors which we thought were the stairs. Instead, it was for authorized personal only and we had to turn back. The two girls were following us blindly all the way all the way. They decided to take the lifts and we guys took the stairs. On the way down to the basement floor, Chen said something like “later the girls will follow us into the car.” Unfortunately, the stairs only reached the 1st basement floor and not the 2nd one so we waited for the lifts. Luck was on our side as the arrow pointing downwards appeared in the panel of the lift.

When the lift’s door opened, we saw those 2 girls again and they were giggling and we laughed, somehow. It was quite a funny and silly moment to me because we could just wait awhile for the lift since that’s the only way down to basement 2 besides taking the long walk of circling around the car park to reach our target.

The next few hours were spent in Dotcom CC. Despite the popularity of the CC, it was my first time stepping into it. The games played were DotA, CS, SDO and some other unidentified online games. I chose not to play as I was not familiar with the PCs. My friends played a round of DotA using –spar mode as all the players are friends. From here, one would comment that a tiny mistake can change the tide of the game. The Sentinels were being overpowered by the Scourge all the while and had lost 2 out of the 3 sides of their base.

Personally, I’d praise Chen for his extremely high morale. Despite one of the players in Sentinel complaining that there’s no hope to play on. He played on, throwing all he had with him even though the odds of winning are 5 out of 100. In the end, the Sentinels won the game. The Scourge was only 1 or 2 seconds slower to snuff out the life from the World Tree. Besides Chen, the credit also goes to Jeffrey, Aaron and the other 2 players for putting up such a fight.

I had to go back home earlier as I forgot to take out my house keys. Sigh.
