Long long post... lol

After reading through all my blog posts... I realized two things:

- The existing pictures are stretched out and looks weird after I used a new theme for my blogspot.

- A long list of lame jokes and memories which I had forgotten, are now refreshed. (failed to recall a small portion of it as I like to write in secret codes or meanings last time)

At many times, it is best we just forgive and forget. Some say forgiving and forgetting is easy, but I believe many people will agree with me that forgetting is hard.

As for me, I harbor no more hatred for what had happened to me during my secondary school years.

No doubt it was one of the worst secondary school life one could ever hope for.. Unlike everyone who enjoyed their school life before progressing onward to campus life.

"Constant suffering" would be the right word to describe and summarize my secondary school life.

Those were the days... but now I really harbor no more hatred or resentment towards my school life.

You taught me to smile again... =]

Let go of the past to embrace the future!

"Don't hate your secondary school life... ok?"

*nods head* and I will always keep that in my mind.

It's only the first day and I already miss you very much baby...

I just want you to know that you are the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life... ^ ^

*******

Speaking of that, do you still remember which team we both supported when we were in Form 2? I still remember...

Found this entry on my June 2006 blog entry which goes like:

World Cup rules for girls

LIST OF RULES

1. From 9 June to 9 July 2006, you should read the sport pages so you are aware of what's going on regarding the World Cup and will be able to join in conversations. If you fail to do this, you'll be looked at in a bad way or be totally ignored. DO NOT complain about not receiving any attention.

2. During the World Cup the television is mine, mine, mine at all times - without any exceptions.

3. I don't mind if you have to pass by in front of the TV during a game - as long as you do it crawling on the floor and without distracting me. If you decide to stand naked in front of the TV, make sure you put clothes on right after because if you catch a cold, I won't have time to take you to the doctor or look after you during the World Cup month.

4. During the games I will be blind, deaf and mute - unless I require a refill of my drink or something to eat. You are out of your mind if you expect me to listen to you, open the door, answer the telephone, or pick up the baby that just fell from the second floor....it won't happen.

5. It would be a good idea for you to keep at least two six packs in the fridge at all times, as well as plenty of things to nibble on. And please do not make any funny faces to my friends when they come over to watch the games. In return, you will be allowed to use the TV between 12am and 6am, unless they replay a good game that I missed during the day.

6. Please, please, please if you see me upset because one of my teams is losing, DO NOT say "get over it, its only a game" or "don't worry, they'll win next time". If you say these things, you will only make me angrier and I will love you less. Remember, you will never ever know more about football than me and your so called "words of encouragement" will only lead to a break-up or divorce.

7. You are welcome to sit with me to watch one game and you can talk to me during half-time but only when the adverts are on, and only if the score is pleasing me. In addition, please note I am saying "one" game, hence do not use the World Cup as a nice cheesy excuse to "spend time together".

8. Most importantly, making love is out of the question during the entire month. It has to be a 'quickie' and that has to be during half-time as well.

9. The replays of the goals are very important. I don't care if I have seen them or I haven't seen them, I want to see them again. Many times.

10. Tell your friends NOT to have any babies, or any other child related parties or gatherings that requires my attendance because:
a) I will not go,
b) I will not go, and
c) I will not go.

11. But, if a friend of mine invites us to his house on a Sunday to watch a game, we will be there in a flash.

12. The daily World Cup highlights show on TV every night is just as important as the games themselves. Do not even think about saying "but you have already seen this...why don't you change the channel to something we can all watch?" The reply will be: "Refer to Rule #2 of this list".

13. And finally, please save your expressions such as "Thank God the World Cup is only every 4 years". I am immune to these words, because after this comes the Champions League, Italian League, Spanish League, English Premier League, etc etc.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Regards,
Men of the World

P.S: I'm not a football fan so the above doesn't applies to me

What if...

I lost the motivation to blog recently, not much of a problem to me since I always kept a low profile of myself. You won’t see me advertising my blog anywhere in the internet.

I wonder why I am still feeling numb even though two-third of the semester is already over. I managed to score at least “Pass near to Credit” marks for all my assessments. Even so, that is not what I originally intended before my semester started – I want to get good grades, at least a ‘D’ or even a ‘HD’ in all my subjects.

Action speaks louder than words, saying so is easy; doing so, isn’t easy at all. You see… I’m not the type of person who likes to bury myself with books every day. I’ll do anything except studying. So whenever you see me studying in library, know that it took a great amount of willpower to make myself study.

*******

Much has happened this semester.

I went back to Utopia after much persuasion, along with Jackie, Johnny and Timothy. Thinking back, we were crazy about it during form 3, waking up as early as 2 or 3 a.m. in the morning just to manage our accounts. It’s still the same 5 years later.

*******

I also finished ‘Devil May Cry 4’ and ‘Crysis’ (Games from Steven) in less than 1 week’s time (Though the games were already released long ago). For DMC4, the protagonist is not Dante anymore but Nero; As for Crysis, The game would have been nicer if they had a longer storyline. I’ll be looking forward to Crysis: Warhead. For the game summary, you can find them in Wikipedia.

Look, the reason I never tried those games until now is because I kept assuming that my laptop would not have what it takes to play the game smoothly. Even if I am able to play some of those new games with low graphic quality, I rather not waste my time on it.

*******

I’ve also finished watching some of the recently released movie/anime.

Naruto Shippuden Movie 2: Bonds (劇場版 NARUTO−ナルト− 疾風伝 絆 Gekijōban Naruto Shippūden: Kizuna)

The actual movie is already released last year in Japan. For the introduction, it starts with a group of mysterious ninjas from sky country air striking Konoha. Enough spoilers till here. Go download the full movie and watch it.

Zettai Kareshi (Absolute Boyfriend) 2009 Special

It had been 3 years since the last tragedy and now Tenjo Night had been revived, it seems like he could not remember anything from the past. Someone might be able to change his fate, but will that benefit or bring more trouble to all those around him? Like before, go download the movie and watch it. I wouldn’t want to spoil anymore. 

IRyu (Team Medical Dragon) S01 & S02

This drama is about doctors performing their out-of-the-ordinary skills, chasing after time to save lives. There are touching moments included inside but if you have homophobia, this drama is not for you…

Incoming drama list:

Taiyou no Uta / A song to the Sun
Ichi Rittoru no Namida / One Litre of Tears
Ichi Rittoru no Namida - Special
Celeb to Binbo Taro
Successful Story of a Bright Girl

So many to watch, so little time to spare... Haiz

I had a dream, again.

I wander alone in the dark hallway and came across a flight of stairs.

Climbing the flight of stairs, it seemed like any ordinary stairs, spiraling to the top.

The flight of stairs seemed unending to the point that I passed the clouds.

Then I saw lots of familiar faces, I saw her too.

Where am I? Why are there so many familiar faces?

Why am I here? Why is she here?

It doesn’t matter to me anyway. This is no lucid dream; I knew what is going to happen.

I pushed my way towards her, wanting to talk to her, even a simple ‘Hi’ is sufficient.

When I reached her, it is as if I lost my voice. I tried again and again but it was futile.

I couldn’t hear what she wanted to say either.

Then both of us were pulled away to the opposite direction.

Somehow she managed to pass me a message but I crumpled it without reading a single word,

For I was filled with sadness and anger – so near, yet so far away. And I also assumed that I already predicted what she wanted to tell me.

And I woke up.

What if I just read what she had written in that message of hers?

What if I was wrong with my assumptions?

What if…

Sidenote: Did anyone realized this?

o.O

Thinking that you had a bad day and feeling down? Take a look at this:

Fire authorities in California found a corpse in a burned-out section of forest while assessing the damage done by a forest fire. The deceased male was dressed in a full wet suit, complete with scuba tanks on his back, flippers, and face mask.

A post-mortem test revealed that the man died not from burns, but from massive internal injuries. Dental records provided a positive identification. Investigators then set about to determine how a fully clothed diver ended up in the middle of a forest fire.

It was revealed that on the day of the fire, the man went diving off the coast, some 20 miles from the forest. The fire fighters, seeking to control the fire as quickly as possible, had called in a fleet of helicopters with very large dip buckets. Water was dipped from the ocean and emptied at the site of the forest fire.

You guessed it. One minute our diver was making like Flipper in the Pacific, the next, he was doing the breast stroke in a fire dip bucket 300 feet in the air.

-Click Me-

Yeah, I know we are not the first team to break it.

Thinking back those BS3 times when me and 4 KL friends work together to break the fountain.

During those time, it was easy to break the fountain, all you need is a Naix to solo it. It will be
RK3 ( Kah Fei) who will be playing Naix while the remaining 4 of us (alphavam - Kar Choon, Puyo - Nicholas, Tetsujin - Kenneth and nightgaia - me) do whatever we wanted, be it to hunt down enemy heroes or to farm items for Naix.

My usual role will be to play Akasha, harassing and farming at the same time. QoP with Satanic and Butterfly is just so weird.

Once Naix broke the fountain, we will camp at our opponents' spawning ground and.. well, kill any heroes that spawned out.

A bad premonition

Last night, I had two dreams.

Both dreams are completely unrelated to each other but the only thing that makes me shiver is that the two dreams share the same message or warning.

That I am going to either misplace my laptop or it will be stolen.

One will usually tell himself / herself that dreams and reality are two parallel worlds and will never cross each other. But given the fact that there are a couple of times that my dreams actually came true, (as in what I had dreamed of before waking up actually happened like what I had in my dream) how can I not be worried of it?

Sometimes my dreams really make me turn paranoid even though it sounds silly if you try to think of it logically…

Online games…

Brings back countless pieces of memories when I was a hardcore online gamer.

Reminds me of those I befriend with,
Reminds me of those both happy and sad moments,
Reminds me of those I hurt and lied to,
Reminds me of those I cheated and being cheated by,
Reminds me of my foolish mistakes,

And lastly, reminds me that what I have achieved in online games is actually nothing in reality and that I was a fool to place online games first instead of my loved ones.

Below is one of the many scenes that I wanted to get rid off but it stubbornly resides in my sea of memories…

R.O.S.E. online.
She needed money to buy her own equipment and...

Me: “I just found (insert item name) and will sell it for
1mil later and the money will be mine.”

Her: “…”

Sigh.

The phrase “learning from mistakes” is so true, isn’t it? I guess those memories of mine will always keep me company to refrain me from doing the same mistake again.

Virus attack

It took me around 3 years to find this song. I heard of this song from some radio channels few years back and liked it immediately, but I have no idea of the name of the band when they introduced themselves. I thought it was ‘ambers’ or ‘am-girls’ and no idea for the title of the song so there’s no way to search the net for it.

Today, while idling and recalling the past, I thought of this song suddenly and tried to type in whatever is relevant to the band name. So I got the name ‘m-girls’ then followed by going to youtube and clicking all the MVs to search for the song title.

Time taken to search for band name: 30 minutes
Time taken to search for the song name: 1 hour
Time taken to search for relevant downloading source: > 1 hour
Satisfaction: Priceless

My laptop is infected with the ‘infamous virus of Swinburne’ without me knowing until a pop-up from NOD 32 warning me continuously that the virus kept replacing itself the moment it is deleted.

Why is it from Swinburne? Because I'm not the first person to experience it. Whoever plugs his/her pendrive or portable HD into the computers in Swinburne will definitely get that virus.

The virus somehow locks your hidden folders away from you and if you have any important data kept inside one of those hidden folders of yours. Too bad then, you won't be able to access it. I was told that there is no other way except reformatting your PC to remove that virus.

For my case, besides locking my hidden folders, 'My Computer' is also locked. I got so frustrated when NOD 32 failed me; it rarely fails any user before. Before I move to the meltdown stage, I sought the final option and it worked. That virus left my laptop peacefully.

The developers of Windows XP gave us a priceless tool.

Ever want to hop into a time machine to go back into time? I believe most of us want to. To correct our past mistakes, to take another path in life, to cherish someone before we lost them. But sadly, there is no time machine in this world.

The computers are lucky; well, only those running under Windows XP are, since they possess a time machine. Whenever you mess up anything and unable to return it to its original state, use the time machine.

AND it also works for removing the ‘infamous virus of Swinburne’. Now you can save some money for reformatting your PC whenever it is infected by that virus. Most of you must have already figured out the priceless tool I am talking about. If you haven’t, it is none other than the System Restore.

Try it out yourself.

Old and New

Time waits for no one.

My holidays are coming to an end and nothing much happened during the hols.

I’ve been waiting patiently for my torrents to download, thanks to streamyx for providing a low speed connection. That alone takes 1 month’s time.

Downloaded a few old games and animes… maybe a new game too.

:Age of Mythology + Expansion

:Final Fantasy X (Jap Dubs and Eng Subs)

:Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

:AIR (anime)

:GTO (drama)

And finally Final Fantasy X 2 (still downloading)

*******

Anyone reading those above can say I’ve buried myself in front of my monitor all the time.
*******

Finished the whole episode of AIR but still couldn’t understand the whole of it.. Maybe someone can help me with it?

*******

Took a long time to download all the 12 episodes of GTO and to my disappointment, the subs are not in English but French (couldn’t remember). Sigh…
*******

Completed playing COD 4, gotta say I’m impressed with it. A must play for FPS fans.
*******

Instead of burning FFX into a disc and play it using PS2, I downloaded a PS2 emulator. It took me almost an hour’s time to realize that I load the game wrongly. After correcting it, the screen shows countless missing geometry all over the place… the game is still playable but I’m not playing it.

One week later, only then did I noticed an option specially made for FFX to fix missing geometry. So I played the game happily until I felt something is missing (I was already halfway to finish the game).

Went through a ‘Walkthrough’ and noticed that I missed out some parts of it but too lazy to start all over again… it happened to me in FF7, FF8, FF9 and now. Maybe FF games are actually meant for patient players.

Maybe I’ll finish FFX.. someday. Anyway here’s some screenies in 2moons:

Taken during Christmas..

One of the ultimate skills for Knights..

Fighting Oread, one of the toughest boss in 2moons..

Completed DeadFront

Accessing the treasure room

Happy Birthday Winnie!

We celebrated Winnie’s birthday a day earlier at Pizza Hut again.

Thanks for making me realize that I am a cheese freak, along with some other guys. I am positive the waitress got frightened of us for finishing all the cheese powder provided and still asked for a refill.

Maybe we should think again before playing with food.

1st up: 7-up with chili sauce, tomato sauce, pepper sauce, cheese powder (actually anything that is available in pizza hut is thrown inside).

Looks like carrot juice and tomato puree added up. We assume that it will definitely send the one who drank it to toilet for hours and hours.

Sadly, this prototype failed to yield any results as no one dared to give it a shot. Or maybe Robert did take a tiny sip. But from the look of his face, it looks like he went through hell and back.

2nd up: 7-up with 111.11% MSG (or salt). Guaranteed to work for certain people who like to be bald, permanently. This is also a total failure as test subject realized the change of color in his drink before he even took a sip.

3rd up: Garlic bread with pepper sauce, chili sauce, pepper etc added. Oomph guaranteed!

I felt that I am going back in time again.

This time, I miss the ABC and Ice kacang that 2 hawker dudes sold at the back of my secondary school. Setting up a humble stall by the roadside, whatever you ordered will be done in less than a minute.

The ABC they sell has a variety of flavors and you can choose to add whatever you want into your ABC. Of course, it will cost more that way. I can still remember students surrounding the stall; they sure earn a lot of money just from the secondary school students alone, excluding the students in INTI College and passersby.

Part of me wants to grow up and be matured in all aspects while the other part of me wants to stay as a secondary school student forever, no stress in finals, creating chaos in school compound, jumping from floors to floors and doing everything that I am allowed to do in secondary school that I am not allowed to in Swinburne any more.

Sometimes I wished that I can take this year and integrate it with the past so I wouldn’t have suffered back then. Anyway, everything that had happened back then will be in my mind for eternity because no matter how I reason it, at the end of the day the fault is still mine.

All I can say is: “I wish I have the power to reverse time.”

I intend to write more but maybe it would be better if I save it for the next time, assuming that I can still remember about it.

P.S: Can anyone send me this song "神话" sang by Jackie Chan and another girl? I’m looking for the complete Chinese version, not the one mixed with Korean… Thanks.

Mini update

Qing, it’s been awhile since I last called you or smsed you.

Do you know that I inherited something from you during that 2 years period with you?

My friends said that I am always blur and usually lagging behind whenever they talked about certain topics.

*******

I have been searching high and low for torrents containing Da Capo 1st season animes but gave up when the values of UL/DL showed up. Going for DDL in the end, oh well…

It started when SP introduced DC to me. At first, I was reluctant to add another anime to my list of animes-to-watch as I spend most of my time gaming. One day, out of curiosity, I visited faithful old youtube and streamed the anime. I got attracted, almost immediately.

Sakura, Kotori and Nemu

The degree students are currently having their final exams, study hard and all the best guys and girls!

P.S: SK, I'll do the tagging thingy when I have the time :)

The Pretenders

The novel we studied in form 3 is about Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, no; they are not two people but one people only.

In the story, the readers were told that Dr. Jekyll successfully created a potion that could change the embodiment of a man to his evil side while making his good side pure by polarizing the two aspects - good and evil within him. The price he paid was death and nothing more. There is no way in this world that such works are allowed.

My dad used to tell me that no matter how evil a person might be, there is always a tiny spark of goodness within him/her and vice-versa. So to say that if men and women are holy, then why had Adam and Eve disobeyed the Lord even though the command is very simple and straightforward?

People like you and me all have split personalities but we only show our good side to the society while keeping the bad side away in the dark. The good side of a person is but just a mere shell of his/her real personality. It is the evil side of a person that defines his or her personalities and values. First impression is the keyword for everything you do in life, be it in your career or with your peers.

Indeed everyone is bound to show the best first impression he/she could muster to the others. A few examples would be if you are a new worker in a certain company, you are with a group of people and the list goes on. It is just a basic intuition for us to do so.

Years ago, I saw a guy who is showing off his skills to attract a girl’s attention by jumping across the drain to and fro. In the end, not only did the girl ignore him, he also earned his public humiliation when he slipped and injured his leg before falling into the drain. I admit that I had a similar experience when I was in form 2. The only difference is that I did not slip and fall like he did.

Thinking back, it sounds so silly to me, placing my life on the line to get a person’s attention. My classroom was on the third floor, the highest floor. I stood at the edge of the corridor, meaning to say that there is nothing to protect me should I slip and fall off and resulting in a terrible death if I was careless. Well, she did notice that and asked me to come down nicely.

Like I mentioned earlier, a person’s true personality and values can only be judged by his or her evil side. I’m quite sure that many would disagree with me. The majority will never show their evil side unless they are provoked, revealing their counterpart to protect themselves.

For me, I never show my true colors in front of anyone. Maybe I did it before but I usually stay quiet most of the time. As one teacher of mine told us before that we humans are given 2 ears and 1 mouth so we are to listen more than we talk. I admit that I did pretend to listen attentively to people when they are talking to me while I have no interest or whatsoever in that topic.

There are certain people out there classified under pretenders that would pretend to be nice to you, causing you to lose your guard. Before you knew what happened, they stabbed you from the back. A conversation with a friend of mine not too long ago dawned on me to realize that there are many things that I had not known and will never know of until I was told. Maybe I am slow in understanding.

High-priority military intelligence code states that: the less you knew, the better it is, especially when you are caught and interrogated. In this case, backstabbing need not be saying bad things behind one’s back; it can be in other forms like being rejected or left ignored, it can be in forms which is best not to mention it out.

By doing so, they can eliminate those they do not want to tag along in whatever they do even though it is so obvious at times that the ones eliminated knew about it and they were still pretending like nothing had happened. Maybe those who were eliminated were considered as nuisance or what we call ‘extras’. Well, it is a one-stone-two-bird technique anyway – you kick those people out of the list, and the ones being removed pretended like nothing had happened so that you could go on with proper planning and less worries.

Random pics

Below are some pictures which my twin sister WeiLing send to me. Mostly Secondary school pics. Enjoy.. xD

This is my other twin, Raziman. Born in the same year, month, and day; 10th August 1988.

The girls were smiling in front of the camera.. the guys behind were pointing at the skies.. Look at the sky! It's a bird, no; It's a plane, no; It's a moon?

Ah.. my ex class. Loads of fond memories.. From the top left is Timothy, Alexander, Daniel, Siong Kwong and See Liong. Those sitting from the left are Donny, Alan, WeiLing and WeiLiang.

Below are some random CNY pics taken during F5..

We met in BDC in the morning, starting of with 3 people only. Is it logical to be 3 only? Then whose the one who took the photo?

Pic taken while talking to Kevin in Pei Pei's house.

Everyone trying to get into the picture, Timothy look bored, Alan punching himself (o_O), Kevin and Jenna pulling each other (IMO), Wee Nee squashed in the middle.. Oh well, the crazy me was still there..

The following pictures are from my twin sis's birthday party.

Happy B'day sis! (never noticed that satay Daniel was holding)

Even teachers were invited! Erm erm.. yeah I know, I had a weakness. I never look directly at the camera, never smiled. Yeah thats me.. =/

Everyone present taken in this picture. Ok.. See Liong was holding a bag, whose the one holding a sandal/shoe?

Finally. The class photo as I've promised before..

It was our form teacher, Madam Poh's birthday and we held a surprise party for her... If I remember correctly, some of us went to distract her while the rest of us went to take out the birthday cake hidden nicely somewhere :P The results? She was mad because See Liong kept asking her questions. Then we sang the Happy Birthday song and her angry face immidiately changed to a smiling face. Poh Ling from 4 Biru took the class photo for us. Pardon me if I wrote the name and class wrongly..

Alright.. time to sleep, it's past midnight now. Goodnight everyone!

An old friend

There was something in my mind that I wanted to blog but kept forgetting. Now that I had recalled everything I needed to write on, I’d better write it down while it’s still fresh in my memory. Besides the other incident, this one is also bothering me… sigh.

A girl by the name of Audrey, Audrey Hii.

I doubt most of you would know who she is. Well, she’s a kindergarden classmate of mine and was also my good friend. After graduating from kindergarden, we both part ways. After my classes, I went for tuition for my English. That was the time when I still had my tuition classes (not for long). Well, since it was the first time I enter a tuition class, I felt nervous and shy and kept pacing around outside the door. Then the name list on the door caught my attention. I scroll through the names and saw mine, and then I saw hers. She was in this class too. Well, that was nothing since she was just a friend of mine. Through her I get to know more friends of hers. I remembered one of her friend’s name is Samantha, forgot about the rest. Then I still remembered the time when we had to write an essay (composition). The title is “My best friend”. Well, that time, I was still err… new to English, so I wrote the two of them into my essay while the requirement of that essay is BEST FRIEND. In the end, I was reprimanded by my teacher and she laughed jokingly at me for doing such mistakes. Well, those were the times. After grade 1 (first year), we went to grade 2. Again I met her in the same class again but nothing really happened since the word “feelings” does not exist in my dictionary. A normal friend was all she was to me. Many small things happened during this year but none were clear to me so I’ll just leave this part for the time being. During the next year in grade 3, I never saw her anymore. I ended my tuition in 4 years, 8 months time. Still couldn’t forget my grade 4 teacher, though he is strict, he’s a nice person actually. The only person in grade 4 I could remember is Karen Chee, Jacqueline Chee’s eldest sister. You might ask me how come I only remembered her. Well, its nothing actually, it’s because I was in the same class with Jacq and Karen used to pass the umbrella to her during class hours (around 11.30am-12.00pm) Primary school year 1, 2, 3 and 6 is in morning while year 4 to 5 is in the afternoon.

In my church, during those years when I was still in the Sunday school, I met another girl who resembled Audrey but I dismissed that thought since I thought it couldn’t be her. In my final year in the Sunday school (year 12/primary 6); there was a day which I went early to church. Maybe it was because it was my family’s turn to prepare the Holy Communion. I went to the Sunday school as usual, but since it was still early, there was no one except a girl whom I thought that she was my pre-school friend. We exchange glances and I went to my classes and she followed along to put her bag and stuff on the table. Then it dawned on me that she was my old friend. But then I did not talk to her because I do not know what to say to her… oh well. That was still fine. There was this one time when the teacher was busy and could not make it to our class. Our class turned wild and everyone began talking loudly and laughing here and there. Then Audrey and Happy (another girl from my church too) began to play a game of writing the most name of movies. It turned out that Benjamin and I went to help Happy and Audrey wasn’t too pleased with it. So she said “Don’t help la” or something similar to that. Of course, that time I never knew the value of friends completely so Benjamin scolded her first and she retorted back then the stupid me scolded her too and she kept quiet immediately but the game went on as usual. Ever since that day, we never talked to each other and I hardly see her in the church. Maybe she was busy with her studies or she had studied outside Kuching. I could say I met her less than 20 times in a year which was a great difference many years back then. Last Sunday, after the church service ended, everyone went out and had fellowship with one another. I was surprised when I saw her again with her family. She still looked the same; the only difference in her is that she had grown tall. Quite tall I’d say. She had dyed her hair to an orange-brownish color too. We kept exchanging glances; its either I stare at her for awhile or she stared at me for awhile. When our eyes met, we turned away immediately. She left the church after quite awhile. I couldn’t find the courage to talk to her and apologize for scolding her that time. Another sad case for me.

Maybe some other day I’d find the courage within me again and walk straight up to her and apologize. I wonder how many more parts of my memory are still missing. I had retrieved 2 parts, is this the last or are there more to come?

P.S: I just realized there’s another test this Saturday! Oh my… my head hurts

This is a small small world...

I had stopped blogging recently, just because of a lame reason of being busy. Actually I'm not really busy, just lazy. Its common for people like me. Lazy as in not studying and playing games all day long (sometimes). Malaysia's 49th Birthday was over not too long ago. I did not go to the parade and wasn't intrested in it's procession too.

"This is a small small world" was what I always said to my friends and classmates in campus when we meet them.

e.g: My group of friends met another group of friends at the library, chit-chat for awhile and left for our own classes and stuff. Few minutes later, we met them again at the cafeteria and had lunch together.

Well, I met Prue aka Janrene few hours ago in Blueserver and played against her in a game. Many of you would wonder who is that person. She's a friend I met in Pristontale, Gunbound and finally ROSE. Makes me recall all those crazy moments in Pristontale, two knights, two atlantas. Both coupled up but now broke up. Yeap, i'm one of the knights, and Dristontale is the name of the other knight. No need for me to tell the names of the two atlantas, you'd figure it out real soon. Now I agree with Blueserver's motto - Where Real Gamers Meet!

Below are 2 pics from PristonTale, old, but full of memories.

Discipline Problems

All students (boys and girls included) were very well-behaved in school. The teachers / lecturers / discipline masters / (insert name here) have no problem in handling students with discipline problem. Because students with discipline problems are very rare cases. Every student fears their teacher. Getting expelled from your own school isn’t nice. Being a teacher sure gives you an easy life isn’t it? So, if you have discipline problems, you are screwed, seriously. Ah yes, those were the students of the previous generation.
But today, Most of the students are getting out of control. Most of them are getting rebellious. Even discipline teachers have difficulties handling them. I would just say, discipline teachers think they made the right choice not to punish the students, especially those with brand new expensive cars. You see, students today are different from students from the previous generation. Try scolding or punishing a student for his wrongdoings and you will cry in vain because your ‘wife’ or ‘mistress’ will greet you with scars. You’d be lucky if it’s only a scar. Some serious cases will involve shattered windows and maybe a few punctured tyres.
My bro:

If you happen to be a discipline master, drive an old car to school. DO NOT
in any way attempt to show off your car, be it new or expensive to your
colleagues. It is better to be humble and drive your old 'wife'
or 'mistress' than to have scratches and scars on your new beloved
'wife' or 'mistress'.

This case is a true happening which happened during my dad’s school year in St. Thomas.

Let’s name this student A. He’s the son of another teacher which happened to be teaching in St. Thomas too. He had discipline problems but many teachers were unable (choosed not) to do anything out of respect for their female colleague (Student A’s mother). One teacher knew he had to do something because he cared for student A, so he reprimanded student A. In return, student A punctures his car tyres. Yes, all four of them. Imagine how you will feel if it is your car. Put that aside, this teacher had been very patient and kind, he did not report it to his mum. The second time, again he reprimanded student A because of his attitude and behavior in class. You know what the FUCK student A did? He poured acid unto that teacher’s car. Guess what happened next? That teacher reported to his mum? No. He died of heart attack (if I remember correctly, will confirm with my dad later). Sad isn’t it? My dad said he does not respect student A’s mum even though she’s a good teacher. If I was in my dad’s position. I’d look down on student A’s mum too. One of the reasons is because she is in no position to teach other students. Why? She had already failed in teaching her own son, what more to teach other students? Agree? It really is a sad case. I wonder what kind of future does student A have, probably a dark one.

Recently, there are many fights happening in schools, secondary schools in particular. The first one happened in Johor, a schoolboy fight. A gang of students against one student. The next one happened in Miri recently, which is very near to Kuching, my hometown. Guess what? Instead of a schoolboy fight, it IS a schoolgirl fight. Surprising isn’t it? I used to think that girls are very gentle and graceful, except few I could think of in my secondary school (those with discipline problems but they never really picked up a fight) and this video changed my mind. I could only shake my head sadly and sigh. What had actually happened to the students of today especially female students? Oh well, I am in no position to judge the students. The parents are to take the blame because being the first tutor and mentor of their own children; they should educate them with knowledge and wisdom especially in moral values because moral values among students are deteriorating.
Picture taken from The Star
The Star:
This undated picture from a video taken from a website shows
a secondary school student slapping another girl at a beach in Miri, Sarawak.
The video, which also showed the other girls kicking, slapping, punching and
pulling the girl’s hair, was first circulated on mobile phones.
This is the video I am talking about, around 4 female bullies against a defenseless female student. How worse and sickening can it be when females act like animals? I can be sure that their parents will be ashamed of themselves when this video clip is exposed to them.
The Star:

A check with the police showed that there was no report of students being
assaulted.
SMK Joseph principal Marcus Gauliang said the school had
not received any report on the matter and that it could be the work of some
students trying to smear the school's image.

All I can comment on is that those bullies are immature brats and their parents HAD failed in becoming the role model for their own children. Sad case. Be it an acting to smear the school’s name or not. It’s not something to be played and act with.
Just my POV, this post is not directed to anyone.

Assessments assessments...

F.I.N.I.T.E Mathematics

Hearing that subject makes you chill,
The thought of that subject makes you shiver,
Gazing at the eyes of the lecturer makes you freeze,
Many dozed off during her lecture sessions,
But none dare to sleep during her tutorial sessions,
Hearing the same words from her over and over again:

" TOTAL SILENCE PLEASE "

Immitate not her words,
Should she found out that you do so,
You are dead from that day onwards,
"Respect other people if you want others to respect you" is what she always say,
Which I find it very true, but heck, when we mentioned about Finite Mathematics,
The phrase " Total Silence Please. " is always mentioned.

Silence is GOLDEN. Agree?

A misunderstanding that had been haunting me for the past two years cleared...

Its been awhile since I last blogged. Due to the pressure I faced in my Uni life, homework, assignments, tests, anything u name it. And my physics test is coming today as I blog right now.

There was this incident which happened in Form 3 between me and a girl. Lets call her J. It all began in my Form 1 year, she was in the same class with me. We will usually play around, chit-chat, joke around in a group consisting of usually 2-3 boys and 4 girls (us included)

Form 2, Year 2002

I get to know her better, we started sending birthday cards and birthday presents when it is our birthday. That time, I still had no feelings for her, only treating her as a good friend of mine.

There is this khidmat masyarakat (cleaning of school compound) which every students must present themselves to clean the school compound, attendance compulsory. Usually, 2-3 classes will be assigned to go at the same day to clean the school. It was that fateful day when my friends from other classes are present to clean the school compound too. After I finished my part cleaning the school compound and on my way back to the store to return the equipment with my friend SK, J passed by and I started talking to her like usual. Then SK and I engaged a conversation:

SK: “Hey, who is she? Is she your girlfriend?”
Me: “Huh? No, she’s not.”
SK: “Oh ok, let’s return the equipment now.”

It was then I started to have feelings for J. A part of me blamed my friend silently in my heart for making me have feelings for J, while the other part of me is mixed with feelings of confusion and indescribable joy. I’ll skip my Form 2 part as there’s nothing related to what I am writing now.

Form 3, Year 2003

She went to the best class and I went to the second best class. We still greet each other when we met. On Teachers’ Day, everything went well. We had cakes, drinks, food, fruits, and many more. After every teacher left (which is around 1pm) and some students stayed back to clean up the tables and clearing the rubbish. Took awhile to clean up everything then we all gathered together at teacher’s table and started to chit-chat. We talked about school life, our family, friends, until personal life. It was when girlfriends and boyfriends came into our conversation. And I was questioned by my friends:

Friends: “WL, do you have someone you like?”
Me: “Uh… yes, but she’s not in our class.”
Friends: “Which class?”
Me: “Merah class.” (the best class)

Then they started to guess the girl that I like but each time I answered “Nope” till they persuaded me to give them a clue.

WL: “She’s in the same class with me last year.”
Friends: “Ah J?” (she’s the only girl that went to the best class)
WL: “Yes.”

It was the greatest mistake I made in my life. I should not have revealed to them that I have feelings for J. Ever since that day, my friends started to tease her whenever she passed by. Being a shy type gal, she avoided them and from that day onwards, we never talked to each other anymore. Even when we met each other, we would pretend to look at somewhere else (as if there’s anything to look at!) or just pretend to talk to friends or listen intensively to our friend talking.

Form 4 to Form 5, Year 2004-2005

I bear the pain and suffering for my own mistake for 2 years. Our paths rarely crossed. I told myself to talk to her, who knows, after SPM, I might not be able to meet her anymore. And without realizing, SPM started. Again, I met her (we reached school at the same time in one of those exam days) I wanted to call her and talked to her, but I hesitated because of the lack of courage in me and in the end I let that chance escaped.

March, 2006

In the blink of an eye, our self-proclaimed holidays are over (from December to March, while some students already started studying in January) and we had to go to school again to collect our result slip. Again, I met her alone approaching her teacher to collect her slip. After she thanked and left her teacher, I wanted to approach her and talked to her as I was just next to her but I lacked the courage again to do so. Damn, what a coward I am…! It was like she was waiting for me to say something to her so she stood there looking around. Again I let that chance escaped as she walked away. I could only shake my head sadly and blame myself for being such a coward.

15th June 2006

A good friend of mine, CH told me and Kelvin (Kelvin was in the same class with her during Form 4 to Form 5) during recess time that J send her regards to us. It was then I remembered her and all the flashbacks of my secondary school life came to me in a flash. I kept quiet all the while because I was mixed with sad and happy emotions.

Sad: Because I had not talked to her while I had the chance.
Happy: Because I heard of her again.

After my final class for yesterday, we went out and waited for our parents to pick us up and return to our respective homes. CH told me that J have a handphone, I was glad and asked her for J’s number. I got her number and I store it in my contact list, planning to sms or call her later to talk to her.

15th June 2006. – 8.19pm

While going through my physics textbook and tutorial, I picked up my phone and began smsing her..

WL: “Hello J, long time no see, how are you?”

J: “Who r u?

WL: “WL, are you J? Did I get the wrong num?”

J: “Oh, u ha! Em, long no c ho. I heard CH say u r in Swinburne. I m fine. U? Ok or not 8 there?”

WL: “Not too gd, not too bad lor. A lot of homework n assignments, wad abt u? How’s Form 6?

J: “Em, juz starting. But hav 2 work hard la. D books r very thick, I duno can tackle them or not.

WL: “Sure can la, you so smart leh. Eh r u busy now? If u r then I chat with u next time lor.. Hope that u will forgive me for wad happened in Form 3 that time…

J: “Ha, I already 4got liao, we stil friend ma… I sms u next time lo. Good luck 2 u.

WL: “Thanks J :) All the best to you too! Cya around~

And so our conversation ended. This line is the only line that made my evening joyous:
- J: "Ha, I already 4got liao, we stil friend ma…"

I succeeded in talking to her, to most of you it might be nothing but it is something joyful to me.

Today, 16th June 2006 – 1:37am

……… Yawn… I’ll call it a day. I have a test coming in 18 hours time… sigh… Took 2 hours time to recall, blog and edit till everything is in the correct order..
